Jonathan Goodall is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Department of Computer Science (by courtesy) at the University of Virginia. His teaching and research interests are in water resources, hydrology, GIS, and hydroinformatics. He earned Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from the University of Texas at Austin in civil engineering and a B.S. degree from the University of Virginia also in civil engineering. Prior to joining UVA, he held faculty positions at the University of South Carolina-Columbia and Duke University. Professor Goodall currently serves as an Associate Editor of the ASCE Journal on Computing in Civil Engineering.
