The University of Virginia Center for Transportation Studies is one of six members of the Mid-Atlantic University Transportation Center (MAUTC). MAUTC is led by Pennsylvania State University and was one of the first regional University Transportation Centers established by USDOT in 1985. UVA CTS has been part of this consortium since 1985. The Virginia Center for Transportation Innovation and Research (VCTIR), part of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), has matched all of the base money we have received for the federal grant.
